One session includes four things together: physical therapy, acupuncture, cupping and moxibustion. It takes about 40 minutes.

Back & neck pain

We do not do chuna manual therapy or pharmacopuncture. If your symptoms are severe or sudden, go to an emergency department rather than waiting for an appointment.

Needles and hygiene

  • Single-use, sterile needles, opened in front of you
  • Never reused, disposed of after every treatment
  • Skin disinfected before every insertion

Cupping can leave round marks for a few days. If you have an event coming up, tell us and we will leave the cupping out.

The physician checks your symptoms, history and current medication, then explains what is suitable and what it will cost.

Treatment, payment, aftercare · 40 min

You agree to the plan and the price before anything starts. Card or cash, in Korean won. We explain what to expect over the next few days and when to come back.

Paperwork you can take home

Ask at the front desk and we can issue an itemised receipt in English, a medical certificate in English, and proof of payment. Many people use these for FSA, HSA or private international insurance claims. Whether your plan reimburses is decided by your insurer, not by us.

Hours, language and payment

Open late and on Sundays

Weekdays until 8 pm, and we are open on Sundays. Easier to keep to a treatment interval when you work full time.

English every day

Write to us on KakaoTalk in English and you will get an answer in English. Japanese-speaking staff are on site every day.

Payment

Korean won, card or cash. Foreign-issued cards are accepted. Prices shown are what you pay — nothing is added afterwards.

FAQ

Questions people ask before the first visit

Does acupuncture hurt?

Most people describe it as a dull pressure rather than a sharp pain. The needles are very thin. Tell us if you would prefer thinner needles or a lighter session and we will adjust.

How many sessions will I need?

For recent strains, often two or three. For pain that has been there for months, the physician will give you a realistic number at the first consultation rather than an open-ended plan.

Will cupping leave marks?

It can leave round marks that fade over several days. Tell us if you have an event and we will skip it.

Can I use my Korean national health insurance?

Prices on this page are private-pay prices. Bring your ID and ask at the front desk if you would like your coverage checked.

Do I need an appointment?

It is better to book, especially in the evening. Message us on KakaoTalk or book on Naver. Walk-ins are taken when there is space.

Can I get a receipt for my insurance?

Yes. Ask at the front desk for an itemised receipt in English. We cannot issue a US superbill, because Korean clinics do not have an NPI number, but the English receipt and medical certificate are what most plans ask for.
